Note:   Gustav came to the US on 25 March 1888 aboard the Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm, Bremen to Baltimore. He stated intention for naturalization 3 May 1892, applied for naturalization 6 Jan 1915, naturalized in 1919. He lived with his brother Herman in 1900 and alone in York County, Nebraska in 1920 and 1940. He travelled to Germany with his niece Ida Ziemke, returning to the US 16 Aug 1929 aboard the S.S. Karlsruhe, sailing from Bremen to New York.
