Note:   "Mary". Alias Strobing, alias Führingen. She was from Kleinenbremen, though she lived in Evesen for six years before her marriage there in 1813. She emigrated to America with her son Ernst Heinrich Kohlmeier and is apparently listed as Wilhelmine Kohlmeier with him and with Heinrich Flege on the passenger ship list for the Anna Louise on 10 Aug 1854. (This list gives her age as 57 and thus birth year about 1797, which better matches her younger sister Christine Wilhelmine Strübing verh. Spier, but the latter is not known to have emigrated to America.) In 1860 she lived with Frederick Kohlmeier in Portland Prairie Township. She couldn't read or write. She was buried in the North Cemetery, burial place of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Portland Prairie.
