Note:   Linen weaver and carpenter in Hespe Nr. 27. After the death of his father in 1808, he borrowed money to pay for house reparations. According to the application, the Spannuth property consisted of a garden of ½ Morgen 21 Ruthen, 2½ Morgen 27 Ruthen cleared farmland, and 24 Ruthen of meadowland. He was retired by 1825, transferring his property to his eldest son. In 1836 he still had a wife and a child living with him, and had a cow. He died of asthma.
