Note:   William was a farmer. He was confirmed at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church near Lyons in 1895. He lived with his brother John in 1910, and in Burt County in 1920. He registered for the draft on 12 Sep 1918. He farmed on a place almost across the road from his church, the northern half of what was his father's farm. His funeral was officiated by Rev. E. Walter Bellmann.
