Note:   Henry was a farmer and laborer in Dixon Co., Nebraska. He was confirmed at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church near Lyons in 1889. In 1898 he accepted a position at the Peavey Elevator company in Remsen, Iowa. In 1900 he worked on the William Guhl farm in Oakland Township, Burt County. He registered for the draft on 12 Sep 1918 in Columbus, Montana. He worked as a census enumerator in the 1920 census. In 1940 he was farming in Emerson Precinct, Dakota County, Nebraska.
