Note:   Henry came to the US in 1863. He bought his mother-in-law's farm in Burt County Nebraska. In 1880 he had a hired hand, Joseph Dowlin, and a teacher, John McDonagh boarding. In 1885 he had a hired hand, Hans Nelson. In 1891, a Maria or Catharina Klusendorf/Klüßendorf died suddenly at the residence of August Eggert. She was the widow of Henry’s brother’s brother-in-law and had been living with Henry and was seeking to sue him for breach of promise of marriage, when she suddenly fell ill while milking cows at the Eggert farm and died within four hours. Henry and his second wife served on the reception committee for the 1909 reunion of the Burt County Pioneers and Old Settlers Organization. He retired before 1920, moving to Coburn St., West Point, Nebraska.
