Note:   Confirmed at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church near Lyons in 1910. Farmer in Logan Township, Burt County. After he retired from farming, he worked for the Burt County bridge crew. In his later years, he was an employee of the City of Lyons, taking care of the public parks. A lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, he was active in the Lutheran Laymen’s League and served in several offices of the church’s voters’ assembly.
