Note: Mrs. Mary S. Wendling, 74, of 92 N. Chestnut St., Macungie, died Sunday in her home. She was the wife of Robert W. Wendling. Born in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Cora (Werley) Acker. She was a member of Salem Bible Church, Macungie R. 1. Surviving with her husband are three sons, Robert T. F. Schmehl, of Fountainville, Bucks County; and Donald J. and Dalton G. Wendling, both of Macungie; a daughter Sandra, wife of Dary Decker, of Allentown; four brothers, Paul of Mertztown; and Charles, Howard, and Carl, all of Topton; a sister, Mrs. Edna Behringer, of Topton; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, 3rd and Main streets, Emmaus. A calling hour will precede the services.
