a. Note:   The funeral of Mrs. Laura C. (Reinert) Gift, 78, wife of William A. Gift, was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Adam, where she died March 19. Further services were conducted in Moselem Church by the Rev. Carlton L. Heckman and burial, in charge of the Naftzinger Funeral Home, Centerport, was in the adjoining cemetery. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (Acker) Reinert, and was a member of the Reformed congregation of Longswamp Church. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by three children: Mrs. William Leibensperger, Kutztown R. D. 1; William P., Evansville; and James, Hamburg R.D. 2; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Charles Reinert, Topton; Mantanna Reinert, Mertztown R. D.; and Robert Reinert, Reading.
