Notes
a. Note:   Thomas Acker, a highly respected citizen of Longswamp township, died of diabetes Monday morning, March 2, in his 75th year. Deceased was bedfast for the last 6 months and suffered terrible pain. He is survived by his wife Mary, nee Fritch, and by the following children: Mrs. Millard Wentzel, Mrs. Chas. Geist, Mrs. Thomas Long, Mrs. Tillman and Oliver Acker, of Philadelphia. He was a member of the K. of P. lodge, of Mertztown, and of the I.O.O.F. lodge and encampment of Longswamp. The remains will be buried in the Longswamp cemetery this forenoon. Rev. N. W. Helffrich, of Allentown, will officiate.
