Note: Allen W. Heist, 81, of 34 Linwood Drive, Schoenersville, died Wednesday in Muhlenberg Medical Center. He was the husband of Grace R. (Zeigler) Heist. He was employed in the real estate and claims office of the Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. for 44 years before retiring in 1967. Born in Schoenersville, he was a son of the late Charles and Alice (Schlegel) Heist. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bethlehem. Surviving with his widow are two sons, the Rev. Raymond A., of Williamsport, and the Rev. Edward C., of Rochester, Beaver County; a sister, Mrs. Hilda Shankweiler of Bethlehem R. 2; a brother Harvey, of Bethlehem; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. A calling hour will precede services in the church. The Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, is in charge of arrangements.
