Note: She was still home, unwed at age 18, in the 1860 census. She went to Anderson County with her father, before 1867. A marriage license was issued for David C. Yarnell and Caroline in Anderson Co on 29 Jul 1868 but was never returned! However, she was gone from her father's household in the 1870 census, and a David Yarnell bought some of Philips personal effects after Philip's death in 1871.
