a. Note:   ily moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1910, Fred left the family to attend Pillsbury Academy Boarding School in Owatonna, Minnesota. There he met Mae Peterson who lived in Owatonna and was attending as a day student. He married Mae in 1915 and moved in with her parents, Nels and Hannah when Margaret was born in 1916. Children Joyce and Fred were also born in Owatonna. In 1923, the family of five moved to Minneapolis. Letter carrier, grocery store owner, bakery truck deliveryman. Death related to colon cancer. Fred attended the funeral of Nis. P. Thimsen in Blooming Prairie in March, 1915. His fiancee (Mae Peterson)'s great Aunt (Hannah Jensen) was Nis Thimsen's wife.
