a. Note:   n Church serving from 1773 to 1793. He followed Rev. Thomas Hiscox and was succeeded by Rev. John Burdick. Three hundred and ninety-five were added to the church under his ministry. He was a member of the Legislature and a Trustee of Brown University. He took part in the Colonial and Revolutionary Wars. Vet # 124809. Will dated 31 Jul 1792 and proved at Hopkinton 1 Apr 1793.
