Margaret was born in Owatonna, Minnesota where her parents lived with her grandparents. Her two siblings were also born there. Ray and Margaret lived at 4501 Chatelain Terrace in Golden Valley, Minnesota for 30 years from 1966 until they moved to Brightondale assisted living apartments in 1996. Margaret suffered a major stroke in late 1986 which together with progressing arthritis caused her last years to be painful. In October 1999 Margaret moved to North Ridge Care Center in New Hope, Minnesota where she passed away from pneumonia in January 2000.
