Notes
a. Note:   , 1924, to William Henry and Marybelle (Brown) Coe. Both preceded her in death. She was the oldest of five children and was called "little mama" by her siblings who she helped raise. One brother William Coe and his wife, Marjorie survive in Rockford, IL.
On February 27, 1948, she married John A. Stalter and they had four children: Sylvia Mahle, Steven Stalter and wife Christine, David Stalter and Michael Stalter who all survive. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Dawn Sanders and her husband Rob, Galen Mahle and his wife Sarah and Laura Coe and her husband Brian along with two great grandchildren.
Although she was raised in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Mrs. Stalter lived much of her adult life in the Chicago area. In 1978 she moved to Anderson, CA, with two of her sons to be closer to family. She moved to Redding in 1988 and was proud of her home and family.
She spent most of her life caring for her family especially her two sons. She loved to cook and prided herself in making nutritious meals for her family and guests. At various times in her life she avidly crochet, read books, bowled and did crossword puzzles. She had a quick wit and gave practical sound advise to those she loved. She touched the lives of close friends and family positively.
She thoughtfully made her final arrangements and friends and family may attend the visitation on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 5 to 7pm at Lawncrest Chapel, 1522 Cypress Ave., Redding. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 10am at Lawncrest Cemetery. Redding Record Searchlight, June 6, 2013
