  Based on the application of recognized genealogical standards of proof, the descent of Stanley Edward Maisel, the descent of Marion Muriel Hollon, and their family structure have been beyond any reasonable doubt. The basis for the descent of Stanley begins with his birth record and death record, which lists the names of both parents.   Stanley Edward Maisel was baptized when he was six days old, on Sunday, January 8, 1905 at St. John Cantius Church, 825 North Carpenter Street, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA. St. John Cantius Church is a historic church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Groundbreaking for the church began in 1893, and was completed in 1898. The architecture is of the "Polish Cathedral style" and "High Renaissance style" of churches. According to the research of Daniel James, Stanley's godparents were Stanley Mazur and Marianna Mazur. Stanley Mazur could be his grandfather, and the identity and relationship of Marianna is unknown.
