Notes
a. Note:   RESEARCH STANDARD APPLIED
Researched by Timothy J. Barron, updated May 2, 2021
Josephine Eleanor Maisel is my maternal great aunt, which is via common ancestry with Stanley Maisel and Anastasia Mazur. Josephine was initially identified in the census living with her parents. Additional details were provided by Nancy Merens, who indicated that Josephine went blind at the age of 6 or 7, which corresponds to what is shown on the 1910 census record.
Based on the application of recognized genealogical standards of proof, the descent and family structure of Josephine Eleanor Maisel have been sufficiently established beyond any reasonable doubt. The basis for the descent of Josephine begins with the census record, which shows her living with her parents. This is followed by her death record, which also lists the names of both parents. This has been subsequently supported with the additional interlocking records and documentation listed further below.
