Note: RESEARCH STANDARD APPLIED Researched by Timothy J. Barron, updated February 16, 2019 Laura is my third great aunt. Laura was initially identified in the family tree book “Genealogy of Hollon and Related Families: Early Settlers of Eastern Kentucky and Their Descendants,” published in 1958 by Clay Hollon. Clay married Blanche’s niece. Based on the application of recognized genealogical standards of proof, the descent of Laura is sufficiently established beyond any reasonable doubt. The basis begins with her baptism record, which lists the names of both parents. This is followed by the census records, where she is listed living with her parents. This information has been subsequently supported via the additional interlocking records and documentation listed below. 1863 BIRTH OF LAURA BUTTERFIELD Researched by Timothy J.
