Note: RESEARCH STANDARD APPLIED Researched by Timothy J. Barron, updated February 16, 2019 Blanche is my third great aunt. Blanche was initially identified in the family tree book “Genealogy of Hollon and Related Families: Early Settlers of Eastern Kentucky and Their Descendants,” published in 1958 by Clay Hollon. Clay married Blanche’s niece. Based on the application of recognized genealogical standards of proof, the descent of Blanche is sufficiently established beyond any reasonable doubt. The basis begins with her baptism record, which lists the names of both parents. This is followed by the census records, where she is listed living with her parents.
